Marian Sue Haney Thompson, 66, passed away peacefully on Sunday, February 16th, 2020. She was born January 24th, 1954 in South Bend, IN. She loved the Lord and was a devout Pentecost. She is survived by her husband Ricky Thompson Read Obituary
Sue, I love you and miss you! We’ve been friends for 36 years. There’s not hardly a memory I have that you aren’t in it. You were my sweetest of friends, we had so many awesome times at church, cookouts and such. I will never forget you, your sweet spirit and heart for God, everyone who knew you were so blessed. I thank God that HE bought you and Ricky into our lives. Love you!!!!!
Sue you are missed. We knew each other since we were 8 yrs old. Went to the same church, school and were neighbors. The fun times we had. You have always been so sweet. The fun times we would have when we saw each other laughing at some of the memories and pictures. You shared your love of God with so many people. We do miss you. But I know you are probably dancing with the angels, praising God. Love you my friend. Our prayers are with the family and Ricky.
My Sincere Condolences, goes out to Ricky & Family on the passing of Sue. I worked with her at Kroger many years ago. She was always so nice & enjoyable to be around.

My fondest memory of my sister Sue is our chats on my flowerbeds and our mutual love of the Lord. My wife bought me a multi colored toboggan and one night I put it on, took a pic and posted it on my FB Timeline. Well Sue commented on it by saying, I want that hat, so I told my wife that the hat doesn't belong to me anymore that Sue just staked her claim on it, so we mailed it to her and told her that this is her hope hat and she was in total shock when she received it because we didn't tell her we were sending it to her. I will miss her very much and would have loved to have had more time with her.
Mrs. Sue was a customer of mine at Eastex Telephone. She always had a smile on her face when she came in and loved telling stories of the trips her and Mr. Ricky would take through the years. My prayers are with her family.
She Haney Thompson was a always a very precious lady. I’ve known her since she was just a young girl in the church in Balch Springs, Tx. Always very dedicated to the Lord. Heaven has another beautiful rose added to its bouquet. We will certainly be praying for the family. The absence of Sue will be a great loss to all of them. Especially her husband Rickie and her Dad Bro. Thomas Haney. Our love and prayers are with you.
I did not have the honor of knowing you for long when I married your brother, J.R. I only got to meet you face to face but once. I knew in that moment you were a beautiful lady, not only in physical appearance, but your spirit as well. The love of Jesus shown through in your eyes and you made me feel as if I had known you many years. I will miss that smile of yours, but you are in the presence of Jesus now and I know you are at peace.
