Marie McWilliams' Obituary
Graveside services for Mary Marie McWilliams of Henderson will be held 10:00 am Wednesday, August 31, 2016 at Pleasant Hill Cemetery. The cemetery can be found in your GPS by searching for Pleasant Hill Missionary Baptist Church, Overton, TX on TX 323. It is at the intersection of CR 4131 (Bob McWilliams Road) and HWY 323. Burial will follow under the direction of Rader Funeral Home of Henderson.
Mrs. McWilliams was born July 2, 1929 in Henderson to John Gray and Fannie May Young Gray and died Friday August 26, 2016 at the age of 87. She married Robert Pinkney McWilliams, Jr. in Henderson and they have been in the community since 1980. She was a homemaker and a bookkeeper for C.R. Anthonys in Seminole, TX.
Marie was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Robert Pinkney McWilliams, Jr. and her son, Bruce Gray McWilliams.
Survivors include her daughter, Melinda McWilliams Collins and husband Ronald Collins of Quitaque, TX; son, Robert Stephen McWilliams and wife Karen Crook McWilliams of Amarillo, TX; sister, Gladys Gray McRae of Henderson, TX; 4 grandchildren, Cody M. Wicker and wife Melissa Wicker of Midland, TX, Chip Wicker and wife Irlanda Wicker of Seminole, TX, Aaren McWilliams Sullivan and husband Nathan Sullivan of Amarillo, TX, Melissa McWilliams and wife Kate Sobering of Austin, TX; 4 great grandchildren, Shelby-Kate Wicker of Midland, TX, Wallace Weston Wicker of Midland, TX, Emerson Sullivan of Amarillo, TX and Ellison Sullivan of Amarillo, TX.
The family would like to give a special thanks to the wonderful staff at Autumn Leaves, Angel Care Hospice, her loving sister-in-law Helen Tisdale and Jessie Maxwell of Angel Care Hospice.
