Maria Lopez's Obituary
Funeral Mass Services for Mrs. Maria de Jesus Lopez 94 of
Henderson will be held at 10:00 am on Friday, Septem 1, 2023 at
St. Jude’s Catholic Church with Father Jose Kannampuzha
officiating. Burial will follow at Rusk County Memorial Gardens.
Mrs. Maria de Jesus Lopez was preceded in death by her husband of
59 years, Tim Lopez, her parents, a sister and brother, and sons-in-
law David Marshall and Chris Threadgill.
She is survived by her sister, Ernestina Chavez and family, her six
children: Ramon Lopez and wife Belinda, Teresa Threadgill ,
Carmen Marshall, Rosa Martin and her husband Hal Martin, Rosario
Flesher and husband Darryl, and Bernice Lopez, her
grandchildren: Kristen Threadgill, David (DJ) Marshall and wife
Christina, Alexandria (Alex) Martin, Jackson Threadgill and wife
Michelle, Gerry Lopez and wife Constance, Anastasia Flesher, Alicia
Martinez and husband Reece, Isabella Flesher, Tricia Grace
Marshall, and her great-grandchildren: Ellis and Aubrey Marshall,
Ella and Avery Martinez, Lucina Threadgill, Donal and Maeva
Lopez, as well as Sean, Casi, Molli, Maggi, Bryan, and Brycen, Katie,
Kyle and Oliver Phillips, and Patrick, Heather, Paisley, and Payton
Lewis, and many special, beloved family and friends.
Pallbearers: Hal Martin, DJ Marshall, Jackson Threadgill, Sean
Dickerson, Reece Martinez, Darryl Flesher, Patrick Lewis, and John
Kelly (Honorary).
If desired, memorial donations may be made to St Jude’s Catholic
Church Building Fund, Full Armor Christian Academy or Rusk
County Child Welfare Board.
Rosary will be held at St. Jude’s at 9:30 am, followed by the Funeral
Mass at 10:00 am
