Maria Ana Garcia's Obituary
Maria Ana Garcia passed away on Wednesday at her home surrounded by loved ones. Ana was born in Cardenas, San Luis Potosi, MX to Esteban and Amparo Rodriguez. She and the love of her life. Andres Garcia, shared 33 years of a loving marriage.
After marrying Andres, Ana became a loving mother to her four wonderful children. She worked in the family business alongside her husband. In addition to working, Ana took pride in being a homemaker to her family. She was the motivator of the family, and kept them rooted deeply their faith. Ana inspired and emboldened her children to succeed. Ana was her children’s number one cheerleader (sometimes their referee). She also had a thirst for adventure and loved travelling. Ana’s hobbies included activities such as zip-lining, jet-skiing and parasailing. Aside from her adventurous life, Ana was a pious woman. Her faith and her family gave her the strength to keep fighting.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Amparo Rodriguez, her brother, Fermin “Memin” Rodriguez, and niece Rosa Isela Rodriguez.
She is survived by her father Esteban Rodriguez, her husband Andres Garcia, her brothers, Marcelino, Juan, and Julian Rodriguez, and her four children, Annitta, Andrew, Daniel and Gabriela Garcia.
A Rosary and visitation for Maria Ana Garcia will be held from 5:00 PM to 7:30 PM on Friday, October 28, 2022 at Raders of Longview. Funeral mass and inurnment for Maria Ana Garcia will be held at 10:00 AM on Wednesday, November 2, at St. Matthew’s Catholic Church in Longview.
