Margurite "Molly" Elizabeth Dryer's Obituary
Margurite “Molly” Elizabeth Dryer was born in Alexandria, Louisiana on August 15th, 1940. She entered Heaven’s gates on July 17th, 2017.
A loving mother, grandmother, sister and friend. Margurite managed a law firm Erskine, McMahon & Stroup, LLP for 35 years. Her work was a venue, through which her ever-present concern for others blossomed. Margurite helped so many people during their legal pursuit for justice while frequently caring for their hearts during personal tragedies. She was tenacious, meticulous, and a loyal part of the law firms success. She fought for those who could not get justice on their own.
Margurite’s greatest pride and joy were her children and grandchildren. Her unwavering love, support and constant guidance is evident in her three fine sons. Her grandchildren were her delight. She loved to spend time with them whenever she could.
Margurite was a friend to many, developed through her beautiful spirit to help those in need. She had an unwavering faith, an accepting spirit and tremendous hope for a better future for all.
Margurite Dryer was predeceased in death by her father, Edgar Brow and her mother Eunice Brow, both of Alexandria, Louisiana. She was also predeceased by her dear sisters, Ruth and Daisy.
Margurite is survived by her son Jimmy Dryer, daughters Tatum and Maddie Dryer, son Joseph and great grandson, Noah Dryer. She is also survived by her son Steve and wife April and their children Gatlin and Meryl Dryer, and her son Jeff and wife Marianne and their children Lauren and Patrick Rowan. She is also survived by her sisters Kitty and Betty.
Margurite had many loving and caring caregivers and the family gives them and everyone else who cared for her their greatest gratitude.
The family will receive friends on Friday July 21st from 6:00 – 8:00 PM at Rader Funeral Home in Longview, TX. A funeral service celebrating her life will be held the following day on Saturday July 22nd, at 11:00 AM at Oakland Heights Baptist Church.
