Margie Truelock Bryan
Graveside services for Margie Truelock Bryan, 83, of Henderson, will be held at 10:00 AM Monday, July 12, 2010, at the Waldrop Cemetery under the direction of Rader Funeral Home of Henderson with Rev. Tommy Marshall officiating. Visitation will be Sunday, from 3 to 5 PM at the funeral home.
Mrs. Bryan passed away on July 9, 2010 in the comfort of her home with her loving family at her side. She was born July 27, 1926 in Henderson to Emmanuel and Opal Welch Truelock and was a lifelong resident of Rusk County.
Mrs. Bryan was an extremely dedicated and hard working hairdresser for many years and later assisted in operating Bryan Funeral Home until her retirement in 1997. She enjoyed gardening, cooking and canning fresh vegetables to share.
She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Creed Truelock, Cecil Truelock, and Ralph Truelock.
Mrs. Bryan is survived by her loving sons; Bob Sanders and wife Monica of Henderson, Bill Sanders and wife Shirley of Henderson; sister, Sentis Griffith and husband Jimmy of Longbranch; grandchildren, Ryan Sanders of Henderson, Jeremy and Staci Bryan of Michigan, Kevin and Mollie Bryan of Henderson, Lindsey and Jake Waldrop of Flint, TX.; great-grandchildren, Will and Rhett Bryan, Graham and Jolie Bryan and Conleigh Waldrop; very special friend and caregiver, Darlene Powell; and a very special thank you to Ileane Hurd, Ann Webb, and Ivenell Hart and many other family friends who cared and loved her.
Pallbearers will be Bill Sanders, Ryan Sanders, Jake Waldrop, Sonny Truelock, Henry Truelock, and Charles Orr. Honorary pallbearers will be Butch McBride and Jerry McClure.
