Margie Hammett Jones' Obituary
Graveside services for Margie A. Hammett Jones, 88, of the Gum Springs community, will be held at 10:00 AM Tuesday, October 10, 2006 with Rev. Mike Ledbetter officiating. Burial will follow in Duncan Cemetery under the direction of Rader Funeral Home of Henderson.
Mrs. Jones died Saturday, October 7, 2006, at Sunshine Nursing Home in New London.
She was born May 5, 1918 in Leachville, Arkansas and had been a long ?time resident of Rusk County. Mrs. Jones worked as a finisher for Fiberglass Specialities for 18 years and then at Sunshine Nursing Home as a certified nurses aid for many years. She was a member of Southside Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, State W. Jones and by 3 brothers and 3 sisters.
Surviving is a son; Freddie Hammett and wife Sue of Longview; daughters: Merlene Cowan and husband Boyce of Granbury, Sandra Ledger and husband Ralph of Henderson, and Linda Jo Smith and husband Gene of Henderson; seven grandchildren,
Fourteen great grandchildren and one great great grandchild.
Visitaton will be Monday from 6 to 8 PM at the funeral home.
