Margaret Margie Rose Dulweber Garland's Obituary
Margaret Margie Rose Dulweber Garland, a loving mother, daughter and sister, passed away on March 29, 2004 in Longview. A rosary will be held at 7:15 PM at Rader Funeral Home, Wednesday, March 31, 2004. A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 1 PM, Thursday, April 1, 2004 at St. Mary?s Catholic Church with Father Gavin Vaverek officiating. Interment will follow in Rosewood Park Cemetery.
Margie Garland was born to Bill and Mary Elizabeth Dulweber on November 8, 1956, in Memphis, TN. She was 3 when she moved to Longview with her family when her father began his career at Texas Eastman. Margie graduated from Longview High School in 1975 and attended Kilgore College. She married Gene Garland, Jr. and together they raised 3 wonderful boys. The family moved to Dallas where Margie had a long career in the landscaping and nursery industry.
Margie is survived by her sons, Christopher and his wife, Rochelle, Casey and Chase, all of Dallas, TX; her parents, Bill and Mary Elizabeth Dulweber of Longview ; her sister, Susan McWhorter and her husband, David , of Longview; and her three brothers and spouses, Mark Dulweber, Vincent and Karen Dulweber of Longview and John and Angie Dulweber of Charlotte, NC. She is also survived by a grandchild and many nieces and nephews, and the Garland family.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Margie Dulweber Garland Family Education Trust Fund at Spring Hill State Bank for the benefit of her sons.
