Margaret N. Wright's Obituary
Funeral services for Margaret Ann Wright will be held on Thursday, May 30, 2024, beginning at 2:00 PM in the East Mountain Baptist Church with a visitation beginning at 1:00 PM. Mrs. Wright passed to be with the Lord on May 22, 2024.
Margaret was born on February 23, 1937, to parents Clyde and Olga Nail in Panola County just outside of Gary, TX. She graduated from Kilgore College before attending the University of Texas at Tyler, ultimately attaining her Master’s in Education. Mrs. Wright worked for many years as a teacher in the Gilmer ISD, retiring in the early 2000’s. Through all her life, she enjoyed traveling, especially her trips to Europe; and tending her plants at home. Beyond all, Margaret cherished all of her time as a mother to her children and being blessed as also a grandmother and great-grandmother.
Margaret was preceded in death by her son, Michael David Wright. Those left to cherish their memories of Margaret include her loving husband Malcolm Wright her daughter Ginger Tolbert, granddaughter Holly Gilliam and great granddaughter Alexandrea Gilliam.
