Margaret Melton
Services for Margaret Melton, 55, of Longview, will be held at 10 AM Thursday, October 16, 2003 in the Chapel of Rader Funeral Home of Longview, with the Bro. Carlton Burris officiating. Burial will follow in Zion Hill Cemetery in Henderson.
Mrs. Melton was born on September 8, 1948 in Gregg County to Michael and Birdie Long. She passed away on Tuesday morning, October 14, 2003 in a Longview hospital.
Mrs. Melton was a manager for a finance company and a lifelong resident of Longview.
A loving wife, mother, and grandmother, Mrs. Melton was preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by her husband, Lonny Melton of Longview; son and daughter-in-law, Johnny and Lori Melton of Baltimore, MD.; grandchildren, Luke and Jake Melton of Baltimore, MD.; one brother, Michael Long of Marshall; and numerous nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 PM Wednesday evening, October 15, 2003 at the funeral home, 1617 Judson Road.
