MaLisa N. Cotton's Obituary
MaLisa Nanette Cotton, age 52, passed away peacefully in her home in Lindale surrounded by family on Monday, May 14, 2018. She was born on July 27, 1965 in Henderson to Billy Kimbrell and Mary (Kimbrell) Stafford. She married Timothy Cotton on August 30, 1986. They had two children during their 23 years of marriage. MaLisa selflessly gave of her time making sure her home and anyone who entered it was taken care of. She was an avid Alabama football fan and loved to sing oldies and Southern Gospel. She is survived by her mother, Mary Stafford; brother, Jimmy Kimbrell and wife Lana Jo; three sisters, Arhonda Buckalew, Kimberly Kimbrell, and Elaine Weaver and husband Sam; two daughters, April Mahana and husband DJ, and Megan Baker and husband Ric; step-daughter Teri Sprayberry; nephew Andrew Kimbrell; 5 grandchildren; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and beloved friends. She was preceded in death by her father Billy Kimbrell and step-father Edell Stafford. Cremation services were provided by Rader Funeral Home. The family will be accepting visitors on May 26, 2018 at 12:30 pm at Henderson Church of the Nazarene, 906 W Main St, followed by a Memorial Service to start at 1:00 pm.
