Malcolm M. Sparks' Obituary
Funeral services for Malcolm M. Sparks, age 69 of Henderson will be held Tuesday January 21, 2014 at 2:00pm in the Chapel of Rader Funeral Home with Rev. Dale Reed officiating. Burial will follow in the County Line Cemetery.
Malcolm was born April 6, 1944 in Tenaha, and was the oldest of four children born to Ernest and Monnie Mae Birmingham Sparks.
Malcolm is survived by his darling Linda Lewis, 4 children Tina Tuel, Teresa Edney, Billy Sparks and wife Ruby, Lisa Gaspar, 14 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren, brother Eddie Sparks and wife Linda, extended family Tim and Tina Bryan, Adam and Gina Burton, Greg and Brad Lewis.
He was preceded in death by his parents, sister Barbara Riley, brother Larry Sparks, and son James Moore.
Malcolm loved life and his family. He loved hanging out at his old home place, going camping, fishing, etc. He loved traveling which he did all his life. Malcolm was a member of the Carthage Missionary Baptist Church, and was retired from Rusk County Pct #2.
Pallbearers will be Jesse Stewart, Ricky White, David Haney, Zack Mills, Jake Le Blanc, and Ricky Fabbiani.
Visitation will be from 6pm until 8pm Monday at the Funeral Home.
