Maggie Boozer Branch
Funeral services for Maggie Boozer Branch, 98, of Longview, will be held at 4 p.m. Monday, August 1, 2005 in the Chapel of Rader Funeral Home, Longview with the Reverends Nolan Richey and Rodney Richey officiating. Interment will follow in Lakeview Memorial Gardens. She passed away Friday, July 29, 2005 in a Longview hospital. Visitation will be from 4 to 6 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
Mrs. Branch was born July 25, 1907 in Omaha, Texas to John and Emma Allen Boozer. She was retired from Good Shepherd Medical Center as a nurse, and after retirement she worked as a private duty nurse. She was a member of Mobberly Baptist Church where she was a member of the Ruth Sunday School Class.
Mrs. Branch was preceded in death by her husband of 55 years, Woodrow Branch, and her parents and siblings.
Those left to cherish her memory are her daughter, Mary Jon Rawls of Longview; grandchildren, Diana Rider of Cleveland, OH, Mike McCollum of Harrison, AR, Carol Garland of Longview, and Chris Rawls of League City, TX; great grandchildren, Travis Rider, Matthew Rider, and William Garland; nieces and nephews, Montine Martin of Longview, J. B. Boozer of Omaha, Vanoy Boozer of Naples, TX, Bobby Boozer of Ajo, AZ, Jean Boozer of Phoenix, AZ, Howard Curtis Boozer of Quitman, TX, Willie Jo Boozer of Colorado Springs, CO, Wendall Boozer of Texarkana, TX, and Doris Sosbee of Richardson, TX.
