Madelyn was one of the first teachers I met when I started my teaching career at Pine Tree Middle School. She was an outstanding, loving teacher and a dear friend. My prayers and love go to the family during these difficult times. Mrs. Leath was an excellent English teacher who had high expectations and knew how to get the best from her students. She is definitely one of the main reasons I became interested in and did well in English classes beyond middle,school.

What a privilege to have taught with Mrs. Leath, for our daughter to have her as her 7th grade English teacher and to have her as a friend. She expected much from her students and she showed them by example how to give much to others.

We started doing some handyman & flowerbed work for Ms. Madelyn about 4 yrs. ago. She was absolutely precious, love & will miss her greatly but we know that she is celebrating with Jesus & her family that had gone on before her.
I've never forgotten Mrs. Leath. She was a hard teacher for me, but one of the best I ever had. Even though she expected much from you, she gave much in return - you never doubted that she loved you and wanted you to succeed, but you had to earn it. Thank you for believing in me and pushing me to be the best student I could be, you have had a part in shaping the man that I am today.
