I met Madelyn in 1960 when I moved to Shreveport to work for Mobil Oil. She and Harry "took me in" and made me feel so at home. Madelyn and I worked together and went to church together at First Baptist, Shreveport. I then moved to Houston and shortly thereafter Madelyn and Harry moved there. Again, we worked together. When they retired, they came to Longview; when I retired I returned to my hometown of Kilgore and we were able to renew our friendships. She was a remarkable person. I am better because of our friendship. I'm glad she had Linda and family to take care of her as she got older. I will miss her very much. I was unable to come to visitation Saturday because of an out of town trip.##imported-begin##Martha Clark##imported-end##
