Mack B. Bullard's Obituary
Funeral services for Mack B. Bullard, age 64 of Silsbee formerly of Mt. Enterprise will be held at 12 Noon Monday, August 21, 2006 at the First Baptist Church of Mt. Enterprise with the Rev. James Henderson officiating under the direction of the Rader Funeral Home in Henderson, burial will follow in the Shiloh Cemetery.
Born July 6, 1942 in Mt. Enterprise, Texas , Mack passed away August 17, 2006 after a 15 year couragous battle with cancer in Silsbee under the care of Hospice, Silsbee Convalescent Center and his family.
Mack graduated from Mt. Enterprise High School then attended Arlington
Mechanical and Industries College. He served in the U. S. Army special services then returned to college while he worked the night shift at Texas Instruments in Dallas, Texas.
He was chosen to be in the first group at T.I. to be trained in computer information technology. Theodora Baird was in the same group. They met and married in 1968.
After earning a B.B.A. at Sam Houston University, Mack began a career as a systems analyst for various companies. His last and longest tenure was with Gulf States/Energy. Medical problems led to his retirement in 2003. Mack then pursued his interests in mechanics, farming, and the outdoors.
Mack was preceded in death by his grandparents Alford and Lena Bullard of Mt. Enterprise and his parents Buford and Gertrude Bullard of Mt. Enterprise. He is survived by his wife Thea Bullard of Silsbee, daughter Mandy Roan Bullard of Keller, Texas, a daughter Rebecca Lynn Bullard of Beaumont, and the apple of his eye granddaughter Macy Elizabeth. He is also survived by a sister Sherry Bullard O?Toole and husband Buddy.
A nephew, Kevin O?Toole and wife Kristin, and a grand niece, Kathleen O?Toole all of Dallas, Texas. He leaves 4 Aunts, many cousins and is remembered fondly by numerous long time, close friends.
Pallbearers will be Jimmy Watson, Delco Grounds, James Reider, Clyde Hudman, Tom Brooks, Joel Moore, Tommy Freeman, and Larry Maxwell.
Vistation will be held from 2pm until 4pm Sunday at the funeral home.
