Lynn Kilfoyle's Obituary
Lynn Kilfoyle died on November 9, 2011 in Longview surrounded by his loving family. He was born September 3, 1941 at Markham Hospital to Crawford Hurst Kilfoyle and Florence McNeese Kilfoyle and lived most of his life in Longview.
Lynn graduated from Longview High School in 1959, and attended Kilgore College where he started dating his wife, Julie. They were married 49 years and had two sons, Donald Eugene Kilfoyle and Casey Lynn Kilfoyle. Lynn worked 38 years for Texas Pacific Railroad, Missouri Pacific, and Union Pacific Railroad until his retirement in 2000. He was an avid hunter and he loved to fish.
Those left to cherish his memory are his wife, Julie; sons, Don Kilfoyle and Casey Kilfoyle and his wife Donna; and three special grandchildren, Rebecca, Cailey and Conner Kilfoyle. He is also survived by his brother and sister-in-law, Don and Pam Kilfoyle, and a nephew Kirk.
Funeral services will be held at 2 PM Saturday, November 12, 2011 in the Chapel of Rader Funeral Home of Longview. Private family interment will follow in Peatown Cemetery. The family will receive friends Friday evening from 5-7 PM at the funeral home.
