I remember coming to visit uncle Lyness playing games outside and watching the cornets movies ever made. Before we left to go home he would always take us to the store and buy us more snacks than we could eat on the way home. He was a very loving uncle that I will truly miss. Until I see you again I love you Uncle Lyness.
I remember uncle Lyness taking us to the corner store to get us candy. He always had time to spend with us when we were there. He would meet me at the truck stop and have lunch or dinner with me when I was going through Longview. He never had a bad word to say about anyone. Always good for a laugh. Lyness at times infuriated me by using his nickname for me “Nickel “,never calling me by my name. At other times he showed his brotherhood by offering to share his bedroom with me because he knew how I hated sharing a room wit 3 others,never getting any sleep. He always tried to be the best brother possible and has earned his place in my heart and memories.
Lyness was a wonderful man! He loved his family so much... he also adored his beautiful wife! I will miss him also very much...
