Luther Edward Harvey's Obituary
Luther Edward Harvey, 85, of Longview passed away on Tuesday March 7, 2017 at his residence. He was born to Otis and Leta Harvey on November 26, 1931 in Sherman, TX. A graduate of Sherman High School, he later went on to receive a B.S. at Austin College. Mr. Harvey spent his entire career as an accountant until his retirement. He bravely served his country in the Army during the Korean War.
Mr. Harvey is preceded in death by his parents; Otis Harvey and Leta McMillin; and his sister Ida Key. He is survived by his loving Wife, Margaret Harvey; Daughter Marla Ann Harvey Farnsley and Husband James of Flower Mound; Two Sisters in law; and numerous Nieces and Nephews.
The family will receive friends and family on Friday March 10, 2017 at Rader Funeral Home in Longview. A Funeral service will take place on Saturday March 11, 2017 at 2 pm in the Chapel of Rader Funeral Home. Burial will take place at Cedarlawn Memorial Park Cemetery in Sherman, TX on Monday March 13, 2017 at 2 pm.
