Luther married Wanda Faye Stewart on June 1, 1955, in Marshall TX. He worked for SWEPCO/AEP in Longview, TX, Shreveport, LA, and Mt. Pleasant, TX. He also served two years in the Texas National Guard in Marshall, TX.
He worked for SWEPCO for 36 years and retired from the SWEPCO Welsh Power Plant in Mt. Pleasant, TX as a supervisor. Prior to SWEPCO, Luther worked for the Coca Cola Bottling Company in Marshall, TX. His beloved dog Bella was his sidekick for 11 years. Luther was preceded in death by his wife of 59 years, Wanda Faye Dominy, his parents Luther and Phronia Dominy of Marshall, TX, and a son, David Wayne Dominy of Mt. Pleasant, TX.
