Funeral services for Luke Turner Evans, age 34, of Henderson, will be held Saturday December 1, 2012 at 3:00pm in the Chapel of Rader Funeral Home with Rev. Terry McAllister officiating. Burial will follow in the Bethel Cemetery .
Luke was born June 23, 1978 in Henderson , TX to Dale Evans and Rebecca Shumate Morris. Luke passed away November 28, 2012 in Henderson . He worked as an automotive body repairman at Rocky's Body Shop. He enjoyed working on cars.
He was preceded in death by His grandfather, Cecil T. Evans, his grandparents Claude & Juanita Shumate, and a cousin Krystle Berry .
Survivors include; his grandmother, Joyce Evans, father Dale Evans and wife Alana, mother, Rebecca Shumate Morris, wife, Kristi Evans and children; Katelynn Evans, Allison Evans, Kylie Evans and Adrianah Ardeneau, , sister Tabitha Evans & Chris Oliver, brother Clinton Evans & wife Christina, Siblings; Shawn Turner, Brandy and Lawrence Kahler, Tasha & Derrick Stein, and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Texas Bank in Luke's name.
Visitation will be from 5-8pm Friday November 30, 2012 at the Chapel of Rader funeral home.
