Luise Viktoria McCaskill
Graveside services for Luise Viktoria McCaskill, 90, of Longview, will be held at Lakeview Memorial Gardens with the Reverend Phil Fenton officiating. Services are under the direction of Rader Funeral Home of Longview. She died Wednesday, December 18, 2002 in a Longview nursing facility. Born October 13, 1912 in Mannheim-Sandhoffen, W. Germany, she had been a resident of Longview for the past 46 years. In 1956, she moved to Longview from Germany with her husband, William T. McCaskill, who preceded her in death. She was formerly employed by Good Shepherd Medical Center as a nurses aide and was a member of the First Lutheran Church of Longview. Survivors include her daughter, Heide Ullrich of Mannheim, W. Germany; step-daughter, Delores Sorem of Roland, Iowa; nieces, Ruth Mathews and her husband Clyde of Kilgore, and Betty Wendall and her husband Gordon of Shreveport; nephew, Carl Vogel and his wife Elaine of Dallas.
