Debbie & family, Although I was unaware of the many awards and commendations mentioned in his obituary—it did not surprise me one bit! Jack was one of my most respected and admired coworkers at the USPS. And of course you didn’t know Jack without knowing Georgia—they truly were one flesh. She was amazing! Driving to the employee parking lot with a hot, home-cooked plate lunch just to sit with her husband for 30 minutes while he ate! Jack called a few of us “kiddo” but we all witnessed the love of this amazing couple. Jack leaves a great legacy of faith, family, fatherhood, and freedom. It’s wonderful to think of the reunion with his wife in the presence of their Saviour. Our thoughts, prayers of comfort and peace, and sympathy are with you all.
He was a great man.
