Loy "Joe" Fenton
Graveside services for Loy "Joe" Fenton, 81, of Longview will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, June 11, 2011 at Lakeview Memorial Gardens. Burial will be under the direction of Rader Funeral Home of Longview. He passed away Tuesday, June 7, 2011 at Beacon Hospice at Margaret's House.
Visitation will be from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
Mr. Fenton was born July 15, 1929 in Upshur County, TX to Charlie and Minnie Fenton. He was a drilling contractor and was a longtime resident of the East Texas community.
Mr. Fenton was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Lois E. Fenton; and brothers, LeRoy Kenneth Fenton and J. D. Fenton.
Those left to cherish his memory are his daughter, Linda Sue Aldridge of Grand Prairie; sons, Ronald Joe Fenton and Tracy LeRoy Fenton both of Longview; sisters, Margaret Emilene Stevenson, Rosey Mary Knoxx and Lois Marie Fenton; brother, Charles L. Fenton; 6 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.
