Louise Visage's Obituary
Services for Twilla Louise Visage, 87, of Longview, formerly of Kilgore, are scheduled for 2:00 pm, Wednesday, December 17, at Rader Funeral Home, Judson Road, Longview, with Dr. James “Butch” Tanner officiating. Mrs. Visage passed away Thursday, December 11, 2014.
Louise Visage was born January 27, 1927, in Holliday, Texas, to Guy and Iris Rambo. She graduated from Longview High School in Longview and attended Kilgore College. In 1948, she married Lonnie Kay Visage of Longview, TX. They lived most of their lives in Kilgore, moving back to Longview in 2004. She worked in the medical & dental field in various capacities. Her last employment was working for a financial institution. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother, and she will be deeply missed by all.
She was preceded in death by her parents and husband Lonnie Kay (Casey), who she was married to for 64 years. Louise is survived by son and daughter-in-law Lonnie Wayne and Patty June Visage of Salt Lake City, Utah; daughter and son-in-law Linda Louise and Michael Glenn Phillips of Longview; son James Gary Visage of Longview; and son Kenneth Ray Visage of Kilgore; grandchildren Steven Wayne and Alejandra Visage of Salt Lake City, Utah; Lindsay Nicole and Mark Andrew Gursky of Huntington Woods, Michigan; and Brandon Michael Phillips and fiancée Danielle Walker of Longview; great-granddaughter Hadleigh Grace Phillips of Longview; twin great-grandsons Casey Michael and Luke Andrew Gurksy of Huntington Woods, Michigan; and great-grandson Jorge Alexander Tapia-Visage of Salt Lake City, Utah; sister Betty Kingery of Longview, sister and brother-in-law, Gail and John Jackson of Gilmer and sisters-in law Judy Brown of Irving and Margaret Visage of Longview; and numerous nephews and nieces and other loving family members.
The family would like to express gratitude for the kind and loving care extended to Mrs. Visage from the staffs and caregivers of Songbird Assisted Living, Summer Meadows Nursing Center and Hearts Way Hospice. Arrangements are under the care of Rader Funeral Home in Longview.
