Louise Lawler's Obituary
Louise Lawler age 87 passed away August 5, 2013 at Diane House Care Facility in Plano, TX. She was formally from Longview then Wylie. Louise was born November 8, 1925 in Cleveland, OH to Loren and Clarice Looker. She graduated from Southwest High School in Kansas City, MO. During high school Louise loved music and played the flute in the band. After graduating from high school she attended the University of Kansas, Lawrence and earned her Bachelor's degree.
Louise loved animals and was always taking in the lost and abandoned dogs and cats giving them a home. She loved to travel and was always ready to jump into the RV and hit the road to new adventures. Louise was a past member of the Order of the Eastern Star.
Those left to cherish her memories are her son Lyle Lawler of Longview, daughter Lynn Lawler Hays and her husband John of Wylie, TX, sister-in-law Patty Lawler Burke of Everett, WA, grandchildren James Hays, Julie Hays Murphy and her husband Steve, and great grandchildren Kailee Hays, Cole and Sydney Murphy all of Wylie, TX
Louise's son Leslie Lawler, her husband of fifty years Leon Lawler, grandson Sean Lawler and her parents all precede her in passing.
Funeral services will be 10 am today at Rader Funeral Home in Longview with interment to follow at Rosewood Park Cemetery.
