Funeral services for Louise Harlan McKinley will be Saturday, February 14, 2004, 10:00 AM at Pinecrest Bible Church, with Pastor David Cook officiating. Rader Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Burial will be in Restland Memorial Park Cemetery, Dallas, Texas at 3:00 PM, Saturday.
Mrs. McKinley was born July 2, 1923 in Burke, Louisiana. She was the Executive Secretary for Dr. Bill Priest, Chancellor of all Junior Colleges in the Dallas District. She was a member of Pinecrest Bible Church. She was a loving wife, excellent mother and loving grandmother. She actively supported her husband, of 29 years, Dr. Ken McKinley, Professor Emeritus of Bibical Studies at LeTourneau University, in weekly bible studies and Sunday morning on KFRO.
Preceded in death by son: 2nd Lt. Richard E. Harlan and brother: Cyrus Honeycutt. Survived by: husband, Dr. Ken McKinley, Longview; daughters: Katharine Harlan Baumann, Greensboro, NC; Mary Harlan Miller, Fort Worth; Nancy McKinley McDaniel, College Station. Sons: Kenneth E. McKinley, Lindale and Terry L. McKinley, Longview. Brothers: Frank G. Honeycutt, Dallas; Seymour J. Honeycutt, Pala, CA. Brother-in-law; Carlton Eugene McKinley, Palmara, PA. 15 Grandchildren and 4 Great Grandchildren.
The family request memorials be made to the Gideon?s or Scripture Memory Fellowship, St. Louis, MO.
Visitation will be Friday, February 13, 2004 from 6:00 PM ? 8:00 PM at Rader Funeral Home.
