Louise Faye McCuller's Obituary
Louise Faye McCuller
Louise Faye McCuller passed away at home with her loved ones March 20, 2006. She was born December 28, 1935 in Macksville, Kansas as the fourth of six children to Martin and Nellie Suiter. She moved to East Texas in her early 20s and devoted her life to helping disadvantaged children in the medical and educational fields. Louise will be remembered as one who always placed the needs of others before herself. She will be missed by friends, colleagues, patients and students who she touched during more than 25 years of service with Dr. George Hoover and over 20 years with the White Oak and Sabine school systems.
Louise was a longtime resident of White Oak where for years she was a passionate Roughneck fan and fixture at the football home game ticket booth. She also placed high value on civic duty and never missed an opportunity to vote while also volunteering time to monitor local elections for more than 20 years.
Louise was preceded in death by her abovementioned parents, a brother Dick Suiter and sisters Arlene Shelton and Shirley Sprout. She is survived by daughter and son-in-law Cindy and Mike Browning of White Oak, daughter and son-in-law Kim Sewing and Darren Dove, granddaughter Ashley Sewing, sister Jeannie Aves and brother Lee Suiter, all of Macksville, Kansas.
The family wishes thanks to Dr. Frase and the staff of Longview Cancer Center, Good Shepard Home Health Services and Greater Hospice of Texas for the care provided to Louise through the years and in her final days.
Funeral services will be held at Noon Wednesday, March 22, 2006 at the First United Methodist Church in Longview with the Reverend Jerry Turner officiating. Burial will follow in New White Oak Cemetery under the direction of Rader Funeral Home of Longview.
