From Louis's companions at the Blue Hole country retreat:
Richard Lucas: May he rest in peace. He had a full and good life.
Dick Miller: My fervent thoughts and conscious spirit will be with Ken, Raye, and all of the Blue Hole brothers as this sacred soul is committed to his final rest. May God bless you all.
Gordon Green: I was most impressed with his positive outlook on life, enjoying and treasuring his friends to the fullest extent. The world needs more Louis Kennedys. The Blue Hole flag will be at half-mast.
Jim Taylor: God bless Louis, a fine and gentle man. He loved my granddaughter, Chloe, would always ask about her. I will miss Louis. God bless him in glory!
Joe Carlisle: It was an enormous blessing for Louis to have been with the brothers at the Blue Hole on the evening of his departure. For him to have enjoyed that convivial atmosphere right before his death was a triumph of human existence. It is with gratitude for his fine company that I will remember him.
Gene McWhorter: Louis was the light of the Blue Hole brotherhood. We will miss his wit and good cheer and remember him with affection forever.
