Memorial services for Donald Logsdon, 74, of Union Grove will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, June 25, 2009 at Margaret's House, Beacon Hospice, 5016 Gilmer Rd., Longview, TX. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Rader Funeral Home of Longview. He went home to be with the Lord Sunday, June 21, 2009 at his residence following a lengthy illness.
Mr. Logsdon was born October 3, 1934 in Vernon, TX to Louie and Ollie Logsdon. He was a longtime resident of Union Grove and a retired truck driver for E. K. Bennett in Longview. He was a U. S. Navy veteran.
Survivors include his wife of 30 years, Janice Logsdon of Union Grove; his children, Donya Kelley of Gladewater, Joey Young of Ore City, Teresa McDonald, Donna LaCoste and Janell Young all of Union Grove; sister, Myra Miller of Morgan City, LA; and 2 grandchildren.
