Funeral services for Louie B. Fenn, 78, of Longview, will be held at 2 PM Thursday, December 27, 2001 in the Chapel of Rader Funeral Home of Longview, with the Reverend David Lawson, Minister of Pastoral Care at Oakland Heights Baptist Church, officiating. Burial will be at Lakeview Memorial Gardens. He died Saturday, December 22, in a Longview hospital. Visitation will be at 1 PM Thursday, December 27, prior to the funeral service. Mr. Fenn was born August 20, 1923 in Pittsburg, Texas. In June of 1942, he married Syble Mitcham, his wife of 59 years who preceded him in death on May 9, 2001. They were residents of Longview for the past 55 years. Mr. Fenn was the owner of West Tyler Motors of Longview and was a World War II veteran. He was a member of Oakland Heights Baptist Church. He was also preceded in death by his parents, Miller and Anne Fenn. Survivors include his daughters and son-in-law, Lesa Fenn of Longview and Donna and Tommy Hiltzman of Louisville, Kentucky, who loved their parents and will miss them greatly; a loving sister, Ella Parsons; 2 grand daughters and grandsons-in-law, Richard and Kimberly Flanagan of Longview and Tom and Kyla Beck of Louisville, who all affectionately called him ''Big Daddy.''; Mr. Fenn was very proud of his 4 great grandchildren, Taylor Flanagan, Lindsey Flanagan, Abigail Beck and Samual Beck.
