Lougay Brown's Obituary
Services for Lougay Brown will be 10 a.m. Monday, November 8, 2010 at Lone Star Baptist Church with Reverend Gary Hampton officiating. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Park in Hughes Springs. Mrs. Brown passed away Thursday, November 4, 2010 in Longview. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday, November 7, 2010.
Mrs. Brown was born in Marshall, Texas on April 29, 1955 to Louie and Virginia Edge. She graduated Daingerfield High School in 1973 and loved music ministry. She was a founder and member of Golden Hope Ministries. Mrs. Brown is preceded in death by her parents and older brother Troy Boger.
She is survived by her husband Rev. Henry Brown of Overton; son Andrew Gee of Overton; daughter Angie Vestal of Naples, TX; step-son Jason Brown of Lindale; step-daughter Jennifer Anweiler of Houston; sisters Roselynn Edge Dupras and Becky Kesterson; brothers Wesley Edge and Tommy Boger; six grandchildren; one great grandchild; several nieces and nephews.
