Lou Davis
Funeral services for Lou Davis, 93, will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, Dec. 26, 2003 in the Chapel of Rader Funeral Home of Longview. Burial will follow in Grace Hill Cemetery. She passed away Wednesday, Dec. 24, 2003 in a Sherman hospital.
Visitation will be from 3 to 5 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 25, 2003 at the funeral home.
Mrs. Davis was born Sept. 8, 1910 to John and Martha Hare, and was a resident of Longview from 1945 to 2001. She was a retired bookkeeper for the First National Bank for 23 years. She was a member of Oakland Heights Baptist Church of Longview.
Her husband J. M. ?Jiggs? preceded her in death in 1976.
Those left to cherish her memory are her sons, Jim Davis of New Braunfels, TX, and Bob Davis of Flower Mound, TX.; grandsons, Justin Davis of Austin and Aaron Davis of Richardson; great granddaughters, Sydney and Madison Tanner of Wylie, TX.; and niece, Mary Jane Tadlock of Addison.
