Lorraine Jeanne Ray's Obituary
Lorraine Jeanne Ray passed away peacefully at home at the age of 55 on May 24, 2018, surrounded by her family. She was the wife of Michael Ray and they shared 16 beautiful years together.
She was born in Gilmer, Texas on September 20, 1962 and grew up in Mineola, Texas where she graduated high school in 1981.
Lorraine was reunited in heaven with her stepfather, Arthur Wright, her grandparents Arthur and Pauline Green and her aunts Dora Banks and Doris Riddle.
She is survived by her husband, Michael Ray. Her children, Amber Kirkpatrick and husband, Patrick, Joshua Phillips and wife, Diana, Stephen Ray and wife, Julia, Bryan Ray and wife, Tina and Jason Ray and wife, Kristen. Her cherished grandchildren, Cameron Kirkpatrick, Lillian Kirkpatrick, Ashley Pipak, Benjamin Phillips, Mason Phillips, Kyler Ray, Kaylee Ray, Kasyn Ray, Ava Ray and Sawyer Ray. Her mother, Dixie Wright. Three siblings; Don Edwards, Roland Caston, and Sherry Caston Terry. She is also survived by many family members and friends whom she loved deeply.
The family will have a visitation from 6:00-8:00 pm, Monday, May 28, 2018 at Rader Funeral Home. Funeral Service will be held at the Chapel of Rader Funeral home on Tuesday, May 29, 2018 at 10:00am with Brother Jimmy Dickens officiating.
In lieu of flowers, Lorraine had requested that donations be made to the Autism Speaks Foundation. Autism Awareness is something that Lorraine held near and dear to her heart as it affected her life personally.
