Lorraine Mae Miller's Obituary
Lorraine Miller, 85, went to be with her savior on Tuesday, July 29, 2003. She was a member of Oakland Heights Baptist Church in Longview, Texas. She had been living the last two months with her son, daughter-in-law, and husband at Signal Mtn., Tennessee.
She was known by family and friends as loving, gentle, giving, self-sacrificing, and open hearted. She was devoted to her husband, children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. Her strong faith, sweet smile, and encouraging spirit cheered and uplifted all in her presence. She was a fabulous cook, homemaker and interior decorator. She spent all her years as a faithful member of her church, serving in many capacities. She especially enjoyed music, singing solos, duets, trios and choir numbers.
She will be deeply missed by surviving family members, which include Royce husband, Bonnie Lilley and Brenda Plyler daughters, and Bill Bob, and Barry sons. Eleven grandchilden and fifteen great grandchildren also survive her.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Oakland Heights Baptist Church, Baptist International Missions, Gideons or your favorite memorial.
Funeral arrangements are by Rader Funeral Home, Longview, Texas. The service will be held at Oakland Heights Baptist Church on 10:00 AM Saturday, August 2, 2003.
