Loretta Louise Moscari's Obituary
Loretta Moscari, age 90, born on September 17, 1925, in Lockport, Illinois, passed away, peacefully in her sleep, with her daughters near her on March 12, 2016, in Flower Mound, TX.
Her husband, John Moscari, preceded her in death. Her parents, Henry and Caroline Lambka Brandenburg, and her sisters, Lucille Carlson, Lorraine Nealand, and Dorothy Abert also preceded her in death.
She is survived by one sister – Shirley “J.A.” Jones of Burnham, IL. Her surviving children are Glenna Moscari of Dallas, Loretta Ann Moscari and husband Paul Antuna of Chicago, John Michael Moscari, III of College Station, Sandra Buckley and husband Gary of Flower Mound, and Sharon McCarthy and husband P.J. of Heber, Utah. Surviving grandchildren are Braxton Buckley and wife Rosanna of Flower Mound, and Brennan Buckley and fiancée Lynlee Curry of Addison, Texas. Surviving great granddaughter is Brianna Lee Buckley.
Loretta was a long-time resident of Longview, Texas and had recently moved to Flower Mound. She had been an avid bowler and enjoyed watching the Chicago Cubs and Texas Rangers.
She was a member of Our Redeemer Lutheran Church of Longview.
A private service will be held on March 22, 2016, at Lakeview Memorial Gardens in Longview, Texas under the direction of Rader Funeral Home, Longview.
