Lora Starr Chadwick's Obituary
Services for Lora Starr Chadwick , 90, of Longview will be noon Wednesday, April 30th at the Rader Funeral Home Chapel, 1617 Judson Rd. with Rev. Earl W. Duggins officiating. Burial will be at Grace Hill Cemetery. Mrs. Chadwick died Sunday evening at a Longview hospital.
She was born June 26, 1912 at Gilmer to George Norman and Bessie Beavers Sustaire. A longtime resident of Longview, Mrs. Chadwick was a homemaker and was a retired telephone operator for Southwestern Bell. Following her retirement from Southwestern Bell, she was employed by Good Shepherd Medical Center as a switchboard operator. Mrs. Chadwick was a member of the Woodland Hills Baptist Church.
She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Rev. Ronnie and June Starr of Longview; her granddaughters and their husbands, Cheryl and Eric Radford of Gilmer and April and Bart Kendall of Longview; her great grandchildren: Houston and Noah Radford and Colllin and Conner Kendall; her brothers, Glen Sustaire of Longview and Harold Sustaire of Ft. Worth and her nephews: Norman Pitts of Conroe, Joe Sustaire of Talihina, Oklahoma and Dale Sustaire of Ft. Worth. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Woodrow Starr and Dan Chadwick.
