On November 24, 2024, the world bid a sorrowful farewell to a cherished soul, Lora Caffey, who gently departed from this world. Born on November 29, 1953, in Pasadena, TX, she graced the lives of many with her presence and warmth.
Lora walked her life's path with grace and kindness, embodying the true essence of a homemaker. Her abode in Hallsville, TX, was not just a house but a sanctuary filled with love and laughter, shared with by her beloved spouse, Mike Caffey Sr. Their bond was a testament to enduring love, a tale woven with threads of commitment and devotion.
As she journeyed through life, Lora held close the values instilled by her dear parents, Milton Hines and Thelma Ione Hines. These teachings illuminated her way, shaping her into the compassionate soul she was known to be. Her legacy continues through the life she nurtured, touching the hearts of those closest to her.
In every sunrise and sunset, in the whisper of the wind and the gentle rustle of leaves, Lora's spirit shall linger, a comforting presence watching over those she held dear. Her memory will shine as a beacon of light in times of darkness, guiding all who were privileged to know her.
Those left to cherish her sweet memory are her husband, Mike Caffey Sr, sons Michael G. Caffey Jr, and Christopher David Caffey and his wife Amber Dawn Caffey. She is also survived by grandchildren, Trevor Crane and Teagen Crane as well as numerous friends and other family members. She is preceded in death by her parents, Milton and Thelma Hines, and sister Donna Hines.
