Lora Palmer Allen's Obituary
Lora Palmer Allen, age 54, of Hallsville passed away November 2, 2023. She was born February 7, 1969 to Gene and Emma Palmer. Growing up she lived in Hallsville and attended local schools there. She was a beloved mother, Yaya, wife, sister, daughter, and friend. She enjoyed camping with her family, trips with her brother, and caretaking of others. However, nothing came close to her love for being Yaya to her grandkids. Lora was preceded in death by her parents Gene Earl Palmer and Emma Bowlden, and her sister Theresa Summers. Those left to cherish her memory are her husband of 29 years, William “Bill” Allen; daughters, Tabatha Carter and husband Zack Carter, Kaitlyn Allen and fiancé Colton Jackson, and Jade Allen; 3 grandsons, Trayson Lloyd, Maddox Carter, and Kyson Allen; granddaughter, Bentley Carter; Parent, Lyle Bowlden; Brother, Bubba Palmer; Sister, Anita Bridges and numerous nieces, nephews, and friends. Funeral services will be Wednesday, November 8, 2023 at 2 pm at Rader Funeral Home in Longview. There will be a time of visitation on Tuesday, November 7, 2023 from 6-8pm. Interment will follow the service at Dollahite Cemetery in Longview.
