LONNIE KAY VISAGE
Graveside services for Lonnie Kay Visage, 87, of Longview, formerly of Kilgore, will be 4:00 pm, Thursday, May 23rd, at Summerfield United Methodist Church Cemetery, with Pastor Kevin Bright officiating. Mr. Visage passed away Tuesday, May 21st, 2013.
Lonnie Kay Visage was born June 10, 1925, in Longview, Texas, to Ben and Pearl Visage. He graduated from Judson High School in Longview and attended Kilgore College. He served in the Navy during World War II. In 1948, he married Twilla Louise Rambo of Longview, TX. They lived most of their lives in Kilgore, moving back to Longview almost 8 years ago. He worked for many years in the East Texas oilfield in various capacities. He had a long career with Trailmobile, where he later retired. To some people he was known as Kay or Casey and others called him Lonnie. He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather, and he will be deeply missed by all.
He was preceded in death by his parents and three brothers, Ross, Buck & Reuben Visage. Lonnie is survived by his wife of 64 years, Louise Visage; son and daughter-in-law Lonnie and Patty Visage of Commerce; daughter and son-in-law Linda and Mike Phillips of Longview; son Gary Visage of Longview; and son Kenny Visage of Kilgore; grandchildren Steve and Alejandra Visage of Salt Lake City, Utah, Lindsay and Mark Gursky of Birmingham, Michigan, and Brandon Phillips of Longview; great-granddaughter Hadleigh Grace Phillips; sister Judy Brown of Irving; sister-in-law Margaret Visage of Longview; sister-in-law Betty Kingery of Longview; sister-in-law and brother-in-law John and Gail Jackson of Gilmer; and numerous nephews and nieces and other loving family members.
The family would like to express gratitude for the kind and loving care extended to Mr. Visage from the staffs and caregivers of Pine Tree Nursing Lodge, Heart-to-Heart Hospice, and Hawkins Creek Assisted Living and Memory Care. Arrangements are under the care of Rader Funeral Home in Longview.
