Lonnie Ray Davis' Obituary
Lonnie Ray Davis of White Oak Tx passed away on Wednesday August 9, 2023. Lonnie was born in Gladewater on November 29, 1957 to Mary Foirriestier and Don Davis. Lonnie was a lifelong resident of White Oak Tx and was employed at Lebus Manufacturing before his death. God created Lonnie like a Tootsie Pop, hard on the outside but sweet and soft on the inside. He would always tell you the way things were whether you liked it or not. He would tell you the truth and with Lonnie what you saw is what you got. Lonnie would also give you the shirt off of his back even if you didn't deserve it. In his younger years he enjoyed building and playing in the mud with his gray, lifted, GMC 4 wheel drive. He also enjoyed fishing, hunting and everything outdoors. Lonnie had friends and family from all over East Texas and he loved everyone of them dearly. He will be missed beyond measure but never forgotten. Lonnie gave his life to our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ before his passing so we can rest assured that he is at peace now. Lonnie was preceded in death by his parents Don Davis and Mary Foirriestier, and brother Kenneth Davis. He is survived by his sister Donell Davis of Longview Tx, his brother Chip Feagin and wife Jenny Feagin of Jacksonville Tx, three nieces, three great nieces and one great nephew. Visitations will be held on Tuesday August 15, 2023 from 6-8 pm at Rader Funeral Home in Longview Tx. Graveside services will be held Wednesday August 16, 2023 at 10 am at New White Oak Cemetery in White Oak Tx.
We want to give a special thanks to Deshun with Hearts Way Hospice and Kris for the outstanding and loving care that they gave Lonnie during his illness.
