Lonnie C. Brunson's Obituary
Funeral services for Lonnie C. Brunson, 81, of Hallsville, will be held at 2 PM Thursday, September 18, 2003, at Oak Hill Methodist Church with Reverend Ted White officiating. Interment will follow in Oak Hill Cemetery under the direction of Rader Funeral Home of Longview.
Mr. Brunson died Saturday, September 13, 2003, at his residence.
Lonnie was born March 11, 1922 in Van Zandt County, Texas to Barney
Calhoun Brunson and Annie Valta Ward. He had been a resident of Hallsville for 33 years, was a self employed automobile mechanic and had served his country in the United States Army during World War II.
Lonnie was preceded in death by wife, Mildred and a sister, Annie D. Beadry.
Mr. Brunson is survived by sons, Don Brunson of Dallas, TX, Tony Glenn Brunson of Arlington, TX, Craig Brunson of Mesquite, TX; daughters, Valerie Killough of Duncanville, TX, Bonita Bastardo of Dallas, TX; brothers, Bonnie V. Brunson of Wills Point, TX, Donnie Z. Brunson of Garland, TX, and a special cousin, Loveta Bennett of Oak Hill, TX, and a number of grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home, Wednesday evening, from 6 until 8 PM.
