Lona Faye Dickerson Anderson's Obituary
Born January 4, 1929 in Cherokee County near the town of Fastrill, Texas to Thomas Durham and Arbie Coats Durham.
She died peacefully Saturday, December 2, 2017 in Longview, Texas at the age of 88 years 11 months, with daughter Julie Ann Robison and niece Karen Biesel at her bedside.
Faye wed Ray Dickerson October 16, 1948 in the home of Joe and Esther Gibson of Longview. Ray and Faye settled in Longview where Ray began a long career with Southwestern Bell and Faye assumed her role as homemaker and Mother to Julie. The family enjoyed many happy years in Longview, were active in church and with many friends and family in the area.
She was predeceased by husband Ray Dickerson in 1995 after 47 years of marriage and by her only brother Tommy Mack Durham.
Services will be held Wednesday , December 6 at Rader Funeral Home with visitation at 11:00 and services at 12:00. Internment will follow at Lakeview Memorial Cemetery in Longview.
