Mrs. Duckworth, is already sorely missed. She shopped at the corner store, where I worked several years ago and was always kind, pleasant and had good conversation. She also had a determined fighting spirit, as she shared the story of a personal battle of hers. Her lesson to me was that adversities can and must be overcome despite anything. The last time I saw and spoke with her, she was grieving the loss of her husband. My condolences go out to her family, as she rejoins her husband and family members.
