Lola Elaine Ball Timmons Stiles' Obituary
Lola Elaine Ball Timmons Stiles, or “Hamburger Lulu” (as she was known to many from her childhood) passed on December 14, 2020, at the age of 75 years old.
She was born on October 1, 1945 in Kermit Texas to Oval (Jerry) Aliden Ball and Oretta Odessa Mae Anderson. She had two sisters, Leotta Jean Ball Allen and Etta Loretta Ball Sherrard.
She married her high school sweetheart, Robert Gene Timmons, on October 31, 1964. They eloped together in Lovington, New Mexico. Although they would separate years later, she loved him all her life, and they had three children together: Kevin, Kory, and Kara. Lola married Gerald Stiles in 1988. They remained married until his passing in 2019.
Lola is survived by children: Kory Timmons (Nancy) and Kara Timmons Hoops (Eron); by her grandchildren: Sarah Timmons King, Hunter Timmons, Kaylea Timmons, Konnor Timmons, Kody Timmons, Ethen Hoops, and Erica Hoops Self; by her great-grandson Kohen Self, and her sister Etta Loretta Ball Sherard.
Lola was preceded in death by her husband, Gerald Stiles, her son Kevin Timmons (Amy), and her sister Leota Jean Ball Allen.
Her service will be Wednesday, January 3, 2024 at 2pm at Rader Funeral Home, located at 1617 Judson Road, Longview, TX 75601.
