Lois Garza's Obituary
"Edna Elois Garza, 85, of Pritchett, Texas, passed away peacefully at her home on February 19, 2026.
Born December 31, 1940, in Sheffield, Alabama, to Ollie Mae and Robert William Letson, Edna lived a life devoted to faith, family, and love. She shared 68 beautiful years of marriage with her beloved husband, Rodrigo “Roy” Garza. Together they built a strong and loving family that became her life’s greatest joy and accomplishment.
To her children and grandchildren, she was more than a mother and granny — she was our foundation. She taught us kindness, compassion, courage, humility, and the strength to stand firm in who we are. She led by example, loved without limits, and gave of herself selflessly. Her wisdom, strong will, and steady presence shaped each of our lives in lasting ways. We will forever be grateful to call her Mom and Granny.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her son, Lee Garza; and her grandson, Dempsey "lil" David McBride.
She is survived by her devoted husband, Rodrigo “Roy” Garza; her children, Keith, Rose, Diane, Nathan, Darlene, Alicia, and Larry. As well as numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, her brother Mac Letson, and many extended family members and friends who loved her dearly.
Visitation will be held February 27, 2026, from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at Rader Funeral Home in Longview, Texas. Funeral services will be held February 28, 2026, at 2:00 PM, with burial to follow at Rosewood Cemetery.
Her love will remain in our hearts forever."
