Lois Fay Rogers' Obituary
Graveside services for Lois Fay Rogers, age 91 of Kilgore, will be held at 11:30am Saturday January 22, 2011 at Rusk County Memorial Gardens, a memorial service will follow at the Pirtle United Methodist Church with Rev. Dudley Plaisance officiating. Services entrusted to Rader Funeral Home of Henderson.
Mrs. Rogers died Thursday January 20, 2011 at Homeplace Hospice in Tyler.
Mrs. Rogers was born April 23, 1919 in, Texas to James E. and Olive Mae Prichard. She was a former dorm supervisor at Kilgore College, and a member of the Pirtle United Methodist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband Roy Cecil Rogers, her parents, sister Norma Brown, and brothers Roy, Glenn, Jack, and Dale Prichard
She is survived by daughters; Alois F. Hughes of Kilgore, and Norma B. Higgins of Houston, Texas, brother; Dewitt Prichard of Ponder, Granddaughters; Laura Shannon Phillips of Herndon, VA and April Hughes of Kilgore, grandsons; Brian Alan Keith of Cleveland, and James Hughes of Henderson.
