Lisa White Joiner's Obituary
Lisa White Joiner, born Lisa Dawn Yarbrough, passed away on July 27, 2024, at the age of 56. She was born June 3, 1968, in Tyler, Texas. In her younger years, Lisa loved to travel and lived in many different places, including Germany, Utah, and Florida, before returning to Longview to be near her aging parents.
Lisa was an avid lover of cats, dedicating much of her time to fostering and adopting cats in need. She also loved sewing, quilting, reading and gardening. Above all, Lisa was proudest of her two titles, Mom and Mimi.
Lisa was preceded in death by her father Milton Yarbrough, parents, Glenda “Lynn” and Larry O’Hara, sister Carolyn Yarbrough and many dear cats, most beloved of whom was Winfield “Pookers.” She leaves behind children Alyssa (Joseph) White and Jamilynn Lewis, grandchildren Luna and Liam White, sister Tammi McFaddin, Aunt Linda Voyles, step brother Sean O’Hara and many nieces and nephews.
