Ms. Linda was my dad's cousin. I always loved visiting with her and her sister when they would come into Center to visit. She was a special lady and I know she will be surely missed. My thoughts and prayers are with the whole family. Love, Sandy Samford Cox

Our beloved Linda Wood, has left behind an incredible legacy of memories and love. So many of our families were inseparable, spending countless hours playing cards, forming bowling teams, participating in balloon races every year , Graceland , dining out, and visiting each other’s homes every weekend . These moments were filled with joy and laughter, creating memories that will forever be cherished.
Many may not know this … Linda was my safe haven during my childhood. She meant so much to me . She provided me with comfort and love, especially when I was sick or simply needed someone to hold me and show me affection. Her unwavering support and kindness made me feel secure and loved. I love you for that Linda .
I also remember our families staying up all hours of the night playing cards, while we children played and had a great time laughing and making memories as well . It was a time of pure joy and togetherness, and I will always cherish those memories forever .
If anyone knew Linda was known for making the best TUNA FISH sandwiches, which she kept frozen by the loaf. They were simple yet delicious, a testament to her culinary skills. They were so GOOD !! She also had a special stool in the bathroom for Chris and Corey, our babies, because we all knew they were ALL our little ones. We miss y’all too .
I know that all our loved ones who have passed away are now in heaven, playing cards and looking down over us. They are reminding us to wait and believe that we will all be together forever in eternity. Let us not be saddened by their passing but instead focus on the joy of knowing that we will all be reunited in God’s house.
Linda, you were an amazing woman, a friend, a sister, a grandmother, and a mentor to so many. Your impact on our lives will never be forgotten, and you will be deeply missed. Please say hello to everyone we have lost along the way. As we all know, we miss each and every one of you.
Until we see you again, beautiful angel, rest in peace. I love you so much and thank you for every memory and everything you ever did for me , my family and all of us here . Your were one amazing human.

Linda was a wonderful lady a great family friend. When we moved to Texas around the corner from us in 1977 Linda, John, Leslie and Darren greeted us a became life long friends just like family. Almost every weekend you could see Linda, John, my parents and others playing cards. She was always there for everyone who needed help. I can see her and my parents up in heaven sitting around the table, laughing and playing cards. My deepest sympathies to the Wood family and extended family. May God bless each of you.
