Linda Stone's Obituary
Linda Sue Clubb Stone passed away at her home surrounded by loved ones on Saturday, February 4, 2023.
She was born on March 16, 1948 in Mr. Pleasant, TX to Wesley and Frances Clubb.
She married Keith Stone in 1982 and moved to Daingerfield, TX where they lived until moving to Longview in 1995. While living in Daingerfield they owned Stone Insurance. After moving to Longview she opened Spherion Staffing in 1996 which she owned until retiring in 2021.
She never met a stranger and had a wonderful sense of humor that made her so loved my family and friends. She was a great listener, loved to laugh, and was friend to many. She was known for having words of wisdom to share and her funny sayings that her grandkids always go a good laugh from. She loved her family and Jesus.
She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers Kenneth Clubb, Wesley "Pete" Clubb, John Clubb, and the father to her daughters, Rodney Hearron.
She is survived by her devoted husband of 40 years, Keith Stone, her daughters, Carla Purcell and husband Jimmy and Julie Gentry and husband Jamie. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Emma Purcell and Rylie Gentry, her sister Mary Hart, and many nieces and nephews.
A memorial service for Linda will be held on Friday, February 10, 2023 at 2 pm in the Chapel of Rader Funeral Home of Longview. The family will welcome friends one hour prior to the service for a time of visitation.
The family would like to thank the staff of Heart to Heart Hospice for their care and compassion.
